Update on the Ladies team
Due to an imminent arrival Rachel Jones has been forced to stand down as coach to the ladies team.
Paul Armes has agreed to take over until the end of the season, as had been previously agreed.
"Up until last Thursday I was coaching but due to my due date being  on Saturday I think its inappropriate so Paul  is going to do the rest of the season which was agreed from Sept 09 that this would happen," said Rachel.

Laura resigned from secretary when she found out she would be havin baby number 3.
Ladies are currently bottom of the league after playing only 4 games with other clubs playing considerably more.
Hopefully we wont get any more cancelled and can try and claw some results back.
Players are a bit thin on the ground due to several reasons including univeristy, lack of commitmment and transfering to Llanidloes who can offer them a lot more than we can.(Welsh Premiership, playing abroad etc).
Training has been a nightmare due to Maldwyn not being available. We have continued to do fitness throughout the cancellations of games and had our first ball trainingg lastSunday.
We have been using the club to do fitness trainng with that presenting problems of its own.
We have games for the next 5 Sundays.

This year 2010 it is the ladies 10 year anniversary. As a committee it has been agreed to tie in with the girls acadamy presentation eveining at the end of the year to celebrate this. All previouse players will recieve an invite to celebrate this, food disco etc, probably July some time as the school term comes to an end.
We entered the Central Wales Cup only to be drawn against Llani who beat us easily. We are still in the County Times Cup.
Our fund rasining has gone well though and the morale seems to be high considering everything. There are a few of the u16's that turn 16 in the next few weeks who will then be eligable which will strengthen are squad.
The acadamy is thriving at t moment. Training is taking place at the High School due to the issues at Maldwyn. We have regularly 20-25 girls. There is u14, 12 and 10 all playing in the Radnorshire league monthly on a Friday. We moved to that league as the one in this area folded.

Please Note

Ladies 6 aside at Llani 30th Aug, please tell Rach if you can play.
