Ladies Getting Back Into Action Monday,

before christmas were all called off due to the weather. We are waiting for new ones to be allocated. Once they are they will
be posted here. Social event. The
next social event will be 4th Feb at the club. Bingo and pie and pint evening to raise funds for the social club commitee.
This will also be Wales first 6 nations game which will be on the tv's there, wear your Welsh stuff! Wales v England. Tickets
are available for this match. If there is enough interest then a bus will be put on from the club. FAW want names and addresses
and money in by the end of Jan to confirm youre ticket. Doing it this way the FAW have said they will give a finacial per
centage back to the club. If you are intereested or want further info please see Ruth. (good socail day out girls....) Table Top Sale. Need to
sell anything? Book a table at this event £6 for a large one and £4 for a small one. Event starts from 8am, further
info or to book a table from Rachael and Laura W. Training. Training is now back on girls. Acadamy 6 30 till 7 30pm on a tuesday. Ladies is 7 30 till 9pm on a Thursday.

fixtures to follow. Welfare officer. The club is pleased to announce the new Welfare
Officer as Roy Eagles and we wish him well in his new role FAW Acreditation meeting. Members
of the ladies team and Acadamy attended a recent acreditation meeting at Latham Park. The club is determind to achieve the
silver status in this scheme within this season. New Welfare Officer Roy Eagles will be actively guiding this process along
as well as maintaing all the relevant paperwork. Subs. A reminder to all players
that subs are now due. Ladies pls see Laura Jones and acadamy pls see Ruth Eagles, Tks. Acadamy. This
is now up and running again on the river pitches, Tuesday evenings 6 30pm. The new coaches are enjoying themselves and are
looking forward to the season. All girls are welcome to turn up aged between 8 and 14 whether they have played before or not.

Thanks For The Kit Thanks to all the members of the public and Newtown Ladies who provided kit and boots following the recent
appeal. Bits and pieces are still coming in. We will be running a raffle at our first home game to cover the cost of the postage
to send the remaining items. Fixtures. 12th August: away to Bicton Ladies, friendly 6-30pm. 19th August: home to Llani Daffs,
6-30pm. 5 a-side. Meifod ladies 22nd August. Llani Tournament 29th August. Please
let Andy know asap youre availability. New Manager
We welcomed Andy to the Newtown Ladies set up with lots of positive comments and
praise from the ladies regarding his training. Numbers are looking good and the club is looking forward to the season. Annual Meeting The annual meeting
took place and the minutes will be out shortly. Las
Vegas Night The ladies team with Newtown Football Club social commitee will be holding
a Las Vegas style evening in November 2010 raising money for Breast Cancer. Lots more details to follow.

Ladies Appeal For Boots And Kit For Zambia Tuesday, June 22 Michele an ex-player who now works in Zambia is visiting Wales.
She has asked if we can help with any kit and boots. If anyone has old boots they don't want regardless of their
condition they can drop them off at Rachel's by Friday, July 2 - that's this Friday. Michele and all the kids
back in Zambia would be very,very grateful.

New Manager Named For Ladies Team Tuesday, June 29
The club is pleased to
announce the New Manager as Andrew Jones from Kerry. The ladies are very pleased with this and are waiting for the pre-season
training to start to see him put them through their paces. New players are needed for the coming season.
Ladies Hold Meeting At Latham Park Tuesday, June 29 The Ladies team will be holding a meeting
at Mid Wales Leisure Latham Park on July 29th at 8-15am. All are welcome to attend the meeting.
Fundraising Walk Across Wales
Tuesday, June 29 Nine members of Newtown Ladies
attempted the Across Wales Walk on June 19, four attempting the whole route of 44 miles in one day and five attempting
27 miles from Staylittle to the Anchor Pub. Unfortunately none of the 44mile walkers completed it but the five
27milers did including Grandad Dave Jones who is retired. A big thanks to those who attempted and completed, all sponsorship
will be split between Breast Cancer and the Ladies football club. The total will be annouunced shortly.
Ladies team seeking New Sponsor Tuesday, June 29 The ladies team are looking for a new sponsor for this comming season. If anybody
