Convincing Win Over Porthmadog from Team's First Outing

Zack EvansAn excellent start for Manager, Bernie McNally and his management team with a 4-1 win coming from the team’s first outing of the season away to Porthmadog this afternoon. Without striker, Elliot Jones, Steve Blenkinsop partnered Luke Boundford up front and was rewarded with a goal. Zack Evans was in excellent form and scored twice and the other goal came from centre-half, Andy Jones. Dave “Robbo” Roberts was impressive, with three of their goals coming from his incisive distribution.

Porthmadog are no push-overs and formed strong opposition for this opening encounter. The difference between the squad this season and the same time last year is that they are almost entirely the squad that finished last season and we will be hitting the ground running this time round. Several trialists also took part in today’s victory but Manager, McNally still hasn’t signed any further players.
