2024 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!!
It gives us great pleasure to confirm that we are now taking applications for our 2024 scholarship programme. Our scholarship provides players with an opportunity to access a professional, full time football programme, combined with a high level academic package which is the equivalent to 3 A levels.
On pitch our players receive technical and tactical support from our UEFA A & B license coaches, weekly strength and conditioning sessions and take part in weekly analysis meetings. Academically, Newtown College staff provide an intensive educational package and support the players throughout their journey with us.
Our scholarship programme provides players with opportunities to train with our first team and earn professional contracts with the club, gain trial opportunities with EFL clubs, access football scholarships in the USA or apply for the most prestigious sports universities in the UK. Scholars will also gain invaluable experience in their chosen field e.g. analysis, physiotherapy, coaching, strength and conditioning if they want to pursue careers in a variety of sporting fields.

We are able to take students who may already be doing alternative A levels or college courses – so current year 12’s students.
We also offer a free homestay programme for players who live outside of our immediate travel radius which offers opportunities to all players throughout the UK and Ireland.
