ACADEMY PLAYERS SELECTED FOR NATIONAL ACADEMI SQUADS
It gives us great pleasure to congratulate four of our academy players on being selected for the 2009 and 2010 FAW national academi squads in the recent games against Bristol City.

As part of the FAW Academi programme, players have the opportunity to be selected firstly for the FAW regional trials and subsequent camps before going into a national player pool to try and progress into the national squads. The players selection is testament to their talent and hard work, the support of their parents and the hard work of our fantastic coaching staff who have supported them along the way.
The players challenge now is to continue to work hard in order to keep their places leading into the upcoming Cymru Cup and potential Victory Shield squad selection, for our other academy players this should serve as additional motivation to try and force themselves into contention.
As a category A academy we are continually striving to provide our players with the best possible environment to develop and seeing players receive recognition like this makes us very proud.
