COMMUNITY: KIT DONATION

Newtown AFC have donated a team kit to Bec Randell, who is a local Paediatric Physiotherapist.

She is traveling out to Lesotho in Africa to volunteer as a Physiotherapist to work with children in the communities out there.

“The shirts are being donated to children who like to play football in Lesotho,” she said. “These children, as well as loving the beautiful game, play adapted football called hand ball which allows youngsters who are unable to walk to still enjoy a form of football.

“Sadly, a large number of these children will have cerebral palsy. I am extremely grateful to the club for this donation.”
