Newtown picked up their third win of the week as they put three past Llanelli to record their first victory on the road.
Nick Rushton levelled after the Reds had taken the lead in South Wales, before Neil Mitchell vollyed in off the cross bar to hand his side a second half lead.
Sam Phillips then notched his first goal in a Robins shirt late on to compete a perfect week for the Robins.
Llanelli began brightly and were denied an early appeal for a penalty by referee David Morgan when Jordan Davies was brought down in the area.
However on 11 minutes they took the lead when a defensive clearance evaded Callum Roberts, allowing James Loveridge to gain possession before homing in on goal and slotting past Dave Jones.
Llanelli had chances with Jordan Follows going close, and Joe Clarke headed wide.
Against the run of play the Robins equalised when a hopeful lofted ball up the left seemed to catch the home rearguard unawares, leading to Nick Rushton directing his finish across the face of goal and in.
Steve Leslie’s speculative effort almost gave the Robins a half time lead, however the keeper held it well.
In the second period, Loveridge went close, before Mitchell was denied by the feet of the keeper.
The visitors made a couple of changes with Phillips and Jack Perry replacing Leslie and the injured Jones.
Then 25 minutes from time they got in front when a move down the right culminated with a whipped cross into the middle which was superbly volleyed home by Mitchell, giving goalkeeper Davies no chance.
Newtown began to take over and forced Llanelli onto the back foot.
And the game looked to be over for the Reds, when Anthony Finselbach was given a red card for a clash with Jay Denny.
Then three minutes later the game was wrapped up as Phillips latched onto a ball into the area to fire past Davies.
