Newtown’s Latham Park once again proving its value by managing to stage the club’s JD Cymru Premier encounter with Bala.
But it wasn’t the outcome that the Robins hoped for, with former Caersws talisman Chris Venables striking his side’s second goal to secure a 2-1 win.
Newtown rue two soft goals. A good display by the Robins failed to add to their points tally. Sponsors for the day were Newtown AFC President Richard Edwards and friends they awarded the home man of the match award to Alex Fletcher.
