Tuesday`s draw for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League has paired us with Irish side Dundalk and Robins Manager, Chris Hughes, is looking forward to the two legged tie as he told us

“ First of all it`s fantastic just to be in the draw and a great honour for the club. It`s the second time in six years we have qualified for Europe which is a fantastic achievement for a club of our size”

The Players and Staff are all looking forward to what should be a great occasion and cannot wait for the games to come around”

We knew on Monday evening what teams were in our little group and Dundalk are the highest seed we could have faced. Last season they were drawn in the same group as Arsenal, losing the two legged tie 7-2 on aggregate, so we know they will provide formidable opposition”.

“However we will embrace the two games and being as they are currently in their league season there will be plenty of footage that we can look at and by the time the game comes around I`m sure that we will be more than ready for the challenges that lie ahead”

“Logistics wise in terms of travel it is a great draw as well, we have earned the right to be here and we are ready to go”
