IT`S A HOME TIE FOR THE ROBINS IN THE NATHANIEL MG CUP

THE DRAW for the second round of the Nathaniel MG Cup was made, earlier on Monday evening, and the Robins have been drawn at home to JD Cymru North side Guilsfield FC.

On Saturday, Guilsfield travelled to newly promoted Caersws running out 3-1 winners to claim their place in the second round.

They did fall behind though to an early Neil Mitchell penalty, but two goals from Iwan Matthew and one from Andy Evans saw them safely through.

Holders of the competition, Bala Town, have been drawn away at Ruthin Town.

In last year`s competition we went out at the second round stage losing 2-1 away at Cardiff Metropolitan University while Guilsfield were knocked out by Ruthin Town.

The second round games will take place on the 4^th and 5^th of August 2023.
