NARROW DEFEAT FOR THE ROBINS

Newtown travelled to Marston Road, the home of Stafford Rangers, as we continued our pre-season build up on Tuesday evening.

We didn`t get off to the best start conceding a second minute penalty but were let off the hook when Tom Tonks missed.

It was a goalless at the break but with just twelve minutes of the game remaining we fell behind when Ethan Stewart scored what proved to be the only goal of the game.
