NEW ERA FOR VICE-PRESIDENT’S CLUB

It`s all change in the Vice-President club with former Chairman, Gareth Owen, Treasurer Sylvia Owen and Secretary Steve Geary all stepping down from their positions on the 31^st of May 2023.

Since the club was formed, back in the early 90s, it has seen many changes in personnel but the great news is that the club is going to continue under a brand new Management team.

From 2001 to the present the VP club has donated £92,000 to Newtown AFC and this has been used in the infrastructure of the club. The amount as averaged out at £4,000 per year, a great achievement by all the members.

The aim of the Vice-Presidents club is to raise funds for the infrastructure of Newtown AFC and we are delighted to announce that the VP Club membership is to remain at £100 and is open to everyone both old and new.

A new Management team has been formed and will consist of:

Chairman/Membership Secretary: Cyril Bloor

Vice Chairman: Howard Ellis

Treasurer: David Mills Evans

Secretary: Graham Taylor

I certainly hope that all of our members, both old and new, will get behind the new management team and give them your full support as you have certainly given the outgoing management.
