Calvin, another promising, young academy product, began his career with Telford United before joining the Newtown development system at the beginning of the 2023/24 season. Smith earned himself a few cameo appearances with the senior team later that season, but has since earned himself a regular spot in the senior squad so far this season (2024/25), playing his first full 90 minutes in a 4-1 home win over Aberystwyth in August, oozing with confidence as he wreaked havoc among the visitor’s defence.
