Summer signing, Robbie Evans, has admitted ‘it’s all about us’ as The Robins prepare for Friday evening’s visit of Cardiff Met University (kick-off 7.45pm).

We go into the game looking for our first win of the season against opponents who have won two and drawn two of their opening four League games, without conceding a goal.

“It hasn’t been the start that we wanted,” admitted former Wrexham man Evans. “We know that it has to change and it’s only down to us.

“There have been positives from parts of our games so far, but we know that we have to do much better and it has to start on Friday.

“It’ll be a tough game, they all are in this League, but we know what to expect and we’ve done our homework in preparation.

“The most important thing on Friday is remembering that it is all about us. If we perform as we know we can then the result will come.

“It goes without saying how much of a difference our supporters can make and we always appreciate their backing.

“Please turn up in good numbers and get behind us then hopefully we can give something back to you on the pitch and get things moving.”

Come and show your support at Latham Park on Friday evening.
