PREVIEW – PONTYPRIDD IN TOWN
Newtown return to Latham Park looking to complete their first double of the season when they entertain Pontypridd Town United on Tuesday 28th November with a 19:45 kick off
The Robins sit 3rd in the league but have little room for error as the 5 clubs below span only 6 points so it’s all to play for on a big Tuesday evening in the Cymru Premier which also see Bala Town hosting Caernarfon and Haverfordwest at home to Cardiff Met in other top 6 clashes.
The Robins needed a late Louis Robles goal to secure the 3 points on a cold evening in South Wales earlier this season and the Dragons have slipped into the relegation zone after Colwyn Bays victory on Saturday so will be looking to pick up much needed points themselves.
The Robins will be without striker Jason Oswell as he recovers from his ankle injury but Chris Hughes has everyone else available.
Chris Hughes men have two difficult home games with Colwyn Bay visiting Latham Park on Saturday before a visit to Barry Town. We need the Robins fans out in force to support the players as the chase to secure a top 6 place and playoff qualification as the race for the split hots up
