THE WAITING is finally over and the start of the 2023/24 JD Cymru Premier season is here!

The Robins start with a home game against a Penybont outfit whose third place finish last term secured them European qualification this summer where they lost 3-1 on aggregate to FC Santa Coloma of Andorra in the UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round.

We have been boosted by several summer signings, including the popular Jason Oswell, who returns to the club after a seven-year absence and can’t wait to get stuck into the new season having seen his recent progress halted by injury.

“It’s great to be back and I have been made to feel so welcome,” he said. “I am feeling good and just raring to get started now.

“You can’t beat competitive football and it will be nice to feel that buzz again. Hopefully I can play my part in getting the most out of this team and give the supporters something to shout about, not only on Saturday but over the season as a whole.

“I just want to enjoy my football again and be able to play regularly.”

With adults’ admission just £5, over-65s £3 and under-18s £1, it’s great value! Come and join us on Saturday, kick-off is at 2.30pm.
