Welcome to Newtown AFC’s Q&A series where we get to know a little more about our players, coaches and other faces linked to the club.

We are going to kick-off the series with a Q&A with George Hughes who is one of our midfielders currently on loan from League One side, Shrewsbury Town.

Hughes joined the Robins in January and made his debut against The New Saints before he was voted for our March Player of the Month.

Our number 18 man took a bit of time out to chat to the club media.
