A former Shrewsbury Town youth, David made his Robins debut back in 2007 as a 17 year olf and went on to make over 60 appearances, before moving to neighbours Caersws.
He returned to the club in 2014 and has held the Robins No 1 shirt ever since staring in Newtown’s adventure in Europe in 2015. Dave had two seasons with Aberystwyth Town before returning this summer having already made an impressive 387 appearances for the club, including 10 in European competition.
His wealth of experience and leadership will be invaluable as Newtown prepare for the upcoming campaign in the JD Cymru North.
