Board Member Nick Evans

Nick is no stranger to Newtown having been a lifelong supporter and will now take responsibility for overseeing all things operational at the football club, in a professional manner. He will be assisting the board to set an ambitious vision for the club, both on and off the field, with clear and defined targets. Strengthening the clubs brand positioning and engagement levels with the local community and businesses will be prioritised. Nick currently coaches in the Newtown Academy U13’s but is better known as being Managing Director of locally based civil engineering company, EvaBuild. His underlying passion is for placing Mid Wales firmly on the map of Wales. Having already good knowledge of the club and academy, coupled with his local extensive network, Nick will be a great asset in helping the club reach its future ambitious goals, and placing AFC Newtown at the heart of the community.
